Bio

Henry was the son of Menno and Etta Brinkman. May 20, 1958 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Livermore — Henry J. Brinkman, 82, died Wednesday morning May 7 at the home of his niece, Mrs Pete Hanson in Marengo, Ia. Mr Brinkman had made his home with his niece for the past seven months. Graveside services and burial were held at the union cemetery in Livermore, May 9. The Rev. Kendle of Marengo who is the Presbyterian minister, officiated and the Hoover Funeral Home of Marengo were in charge. The pall bearers were: James McBreen, J.C. Tuttle, J.H. Seger, Wm. Claus, Harold Rothlier and Joseph Lentsch, all of Livermore. Mr Brinkman was born in Germany, Jan. 29, 1876 and has lived on a small farm east of Livermore for a number of years. Survivors are twin sisters Mrs John Pegum of Marengo and Mrs John Brinkman of Dumont, and several nieces and nephews.
