Versie retired from Bunny Bread in DeRidder and has been living with her granddaughter before her death at the age of 98. She is preceded in death by her husband, Macie Durham; son, Gerald McDonald; parents, George Beeson and Annie Beeson Miller; siblings, Ernest Beeson, Vera Johnson and Earl Beeson; and great-great granddaughter, Patricia Dees. She is survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Service were held at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, on Monday, May 6, 2013. Burial followed at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Bro. Lyndon Longoria officiated.
