Marion Luther Medcalf, of Brookland, AR., died Saturday, January 19,2013, at his home at the age of 69. He was born May 6, 1943, in Hattiesburg, MS, the son of Everett Medcalf and Gladys Housley Medcalf. Marion worked on the pipelines and oil wells for Tuboscope Company in Texas for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Charlotte Medcalf. He is survived by one sister, Josephine Pettit of Brookland. His body was cremated and cremains buried with his mother. Jonesboro Sun, Jan. 21, 2013.
