Web site: http://rootsweb.ancestry.com/~neplatte/vitals/vitals1952.html The Columbus Daily Telegram, September 24, 1952 KACZOR--Rites Friday For Charles Kaczor SILVER CREEK (Special) - Funeral services for Charles Kaczor, 64, who died suddenly Monday afternoon at his home in the Pilsno community, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic church, Pilsno. The Rev. Adam J. Szmydt, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will be taken from the Fleming Funeral home in Silver Creek, to the family home at 5 p.m. Thursday there to lie in state until the hour of the services. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the home. Mr. Kaczor was born March 25, 1888 in Polk county and spent his entire life on the home farm nine miles north of Osceola. On July 5, 1920 he was united in marriage to Miss Tillie Molczyk at Primrose. Surviving are his widow; three sons, Martin and Mark, at home, and Pvt. Philip Kaczor of Ft. Ord, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Tony Micek of Silver Creek; three sisters, Sister M. Cleta of Tarnov, Mrs. Sophie Munson of Fullerton, Miss Gertrude Kaczor of Omaha; one brother, William Kaczor of Columbus; and one grandson, Jimmy Allen Micek.
