Ruth Keetch Smith 1922 - 2013 Ruth Keetch Smith passed away January 11, 2013, in American Fork, Utah, due to age. She was born August 24, 1922, to William and Laura Fage Keetch. Ruth married Carrol Gunther Smith on December 23, 1942, in Lehi Utah, later sealed in the Provo Utah Temple on January 7, 1975. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ruth enjoyed serving in many callings throughout her life. She was a beautician for 45 years. She owned her own salon were she worked with her daughter Marilyn Larson. She loved bowling and traveled the country competing in national bowling competitions with her sister Margaret and brought home a lot of trophies. Ruth was a nurse to her husband for 3½ years while he was on dialysis. She was in constant service to others and always put others needs before her own. Survived by her son: Max Carl (Cozette) Smith (Arizona), Daughters Marilyn (Eric) Larson (Lehi), and Ruth Ann (Bob) Coats (Riverton), 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Brothers: Harold Keetch and Fred Keetch, sisters Erma Robinson, Mamie Baum, and Margaret Wilkins, and Grandson Dustin Smith. A special thanks to the Alpine Valley Care Center and Melody who took special care of Ruth. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 19, 2013 at the Sego Lily Ward Chapel, 900 North 700 East, Lehi, Utah at 12:00 PM.
