Bio

Funeral services for Johnnie Lee Ward Meadows, 90, of Lubbock, formerly of Slaton, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Englunds Chapel with Jack Gordon, minister of Westside Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. She died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001. She was born Aug. 30, 1911, in Comanche County. She married John G. Meadows on March 11, 1944, in Slaton. He preceded her in death Dec. 17, 1990. She lived in Lorenzo and Slaton before moving to Lubbock in 1992. She was a homemaker. Survivors include nephews and nieces.
