Birth date is from WWI & II registration cards, death certificate & obituary. ~~~~~ Services For Pete Murphy Held Sunday Funeral services for Grover C. (Pete) Murphy, 77, who died Saturday in Wysong Hospital, were held at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Princeton Baptist Church of which he was a member. Revs. Lloyd Elder, pastor anti A. J. Pineout of Terrell conducted the service. Interment was directed by Turrentine-Jackson Funeral Directors. He was born November 15, 1885, in Tennessee, the son of John and Mollie Murphy, but had lived in Collin County most of his lilf. He married Gladys Callahan July 28, 1907, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Royce Cave and Mrs. Ross Mantooth, all of Princeton; sister.
