Bio
Mrs. McClellan was born May 14, 1934, in Memphis,Hall County, Texas, to William Carlton Davis and Mattyelue Clem Davis. She married Burl McClellan, July 16, 1955, in Memphis, Texas. She was a member of Bluff Dale Baptist Church. She had lived in Granbury for 42 years and was a third grade teacher at Emma Roberson School. She was a member of the Garden Club in Bluff Dale. Day was very active in her church. She loved reading, sewing and corresponding with inmates through the church's Prison Ministry. She loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors: Daughter, Luanne Carpenter; grandchildren, Chandler Carpenter, Maurley Carpenter, Kendall Carpenter, Landry Carpenter; brothers, Bill Davis and wife, Sara, Jim Davis and wife, Linda.
