Bio

William Franklin Clark was born July 7, 1899 and died March 30, 1971. Buried at Mojave, California. He married Eula Clara Jones July 20, 1922 in Houston County, Texas; they later divorced about 1945. They had six children: Robert Benton, Rena Mae, Dorothy Lee, Raymond Eugene, Edwin LaMarr, and Alta Yvonne. He farmed around Lubbock, Texas until 1939 when the family moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. Frank and Eula joined the Church of God at this time. They moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico in 1942 and he worked for United States Potash Company till after he and Eula got a divorce in 1945. Frank Married Alice Nutter about 1948 and lived with her in Carlsbad, New Mexico and ran a service station for about five years, then moved to Peru, Kansas, where he ran a service station until his retirement when they moved to Caney, Kansas. Frank came to Boron, California to visit his daughter and family when he died of a stroke. Alice died in February, 1972, at Caney, Kansas. Eula died of a heart attack in bed before getting up at five a.m. in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Frank was not a member of any church when he died and Eula was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church at Carlsbad.
