Funeral Services for Ruth D. Ritterbush, age 77, of Chambers, will be at 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 7th, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chambers, with burial at the Chambers Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6th, from 4-7 P.M., with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill. Ruth passed away Friday morning, January 4th, at the Golden Living Center in O'Neill. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She is survived by 2 Sons, Randy Ritterbush and wife Karen, of Battle Creek, NE, Robert Ritterbush and wife Cori of Papillion, NE, 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren; Stacy Maier and husband Kurt, and children Jaden & Jaylie of Tea, SD, Aaron Sinclair and wife Trishia, and children Lilianna & Logan, of Ankeny, IA, Regina Sherman, of Norfolk, NE, Alison Miller and husband Tim, of West Point, NE, Taylar Nelson, A.J. Nelson, Alexus Ritterbush, Kennedy Ritterbush, Sophia Ritterbush, and Samantha Ritterbush, all of Papillion, NE, 1 Sister, Florence Ritterbush, of O'Neill, NE, 1 Sister in Law, Delores Mace, of O'Neill, and 1 Nephew, Richard Mace and wife Diane, of O'Neill, NE. Ruth Darlene Mace was born on March 16, 1935, on the family farm northwest of Chambers, NE, to Arnie Sr. and Mary (Holtz) Mace. She married John Ritterbush on August 25, 1952, in Chambers and was a ranch wife until they moved to town in 1964. She then worked as head cook at the Chambers School until retiring in 2003. John passed away on May 29, 1995. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Chambers, a representative of the AAL, and a member of LWML where she was an officer for many years. Her passions were cooking and baking. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Brother Arnie Mace, Jr., Brother in Law, William Ritterbush, and Sister in Law and Brother in Law, Millie and Henry Weber.
