Alta JoAnn Keddington Bruin 1935 ~ 2012 Alta JoAnn Keddington Bruin passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 peacefully at home. She was born June 16, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Ramah and Alta Beck Keddington. She married Ronald L Bruin on October 17, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. JoAnn graduated from East High School in Salt Lake. She worked at Beneficial Life Insurance Company. She earned her degree as an LPN and worked and retired from St. Marks Hospital. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved family parties, going on vacations and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband; Ronald L Bruin. Her children; Evelyn (Joe) Jackson, R. Craig Bruin, Doug (Teresa) Bruin, Sarah (John) Tschaggeny and Richard (Meri) Bruin. 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents and a brother R. Hulbert Keddington.. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Winder 2nd Ward (1361 East 4000 South, Salt Lake). A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Garden Cemetery (1950 East 10600 South).
