Mearlie Dean (Cofield) Johnson Mearile Dean Johnson, 66, of Mildred passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003 in Alamogordo, N.M. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Eureka Cemetery with the Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born Aug. 27, 1937 in Ennis to Benny Cofield and Irene Vise Cofield. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Johnson, and her parents. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, C. W. Johnson of Mildred; sons and daughter-in-law, Wynn Johnson of Corsicana and Greg and Kim Johnson of Austin; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Lynn Bullard of Arlington and Stacy and Gayle Bean of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Karen Johnson of Grandview; brother and sister-in-law, David and Alice Cofield of Tatum; and sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Keith Weaver of Corsicana.
