Bio
Florence Annie Mlcak, 80 yrs., born to Lillie Machala and John Mlcak in the Mixville, Austin Co., Texas. She was raised on a farm in Mixville, and attended Sealy High School in 1950. She furthered her education by attending business and cosmetology schools in Houston. On June 27, 1953, she married Fred A. Mlcak at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. They started a tractor business a few years later and owned and operated the business for many years. She continued to run the tractor business even after Fred's death until she retired in 1997. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Houston, the Sealy Chapter KJZT, the St. Jerome Altar Society and the SPJST Lodge No. 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and an infant son. She is survived by her son and his wife, and daughter, and her husband, and brothers and their wives, nieces and nephews. Visitation was on Monday, December 11 at 12 noon from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek. A wake service and KJZT Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral service was on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 12 noon from St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Thuy Quang Nguyen celebrated the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
