Bio

Vlasta Christina Bravenec Hejl, 98, of Temple, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at a local living center. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at East HWY Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday December 28, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Seaton Cemetery. Vlasta was born in Bell County, Texas, to the late John and Sophie Krahulik Bravenec. She was a member of the East HWY Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robet Hejl, in 1987; daughters, Dorothy Hejl and Mildred Bartek; and a son, Robert Hejl, Jr. Survivors include daughter, Juanita Bartek, of Temple; son, Eugene Hejl, of Temple; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great–great-grandchildren.
