Casa Grande, Arizona DISPATCH, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 Dorothy Higginbotham COOLIDGE - Dorothy Mae Higginbotham, 83, died on Dec. 8, 2012, in Phoenix. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. The service will follow at 10. A graveside service will follow in Valley Memorial Park. The Rev. Carol Hosler will officiate. Mrs. Higginbotham was born on Sept. 15, 1929, in Roswell, N.M., to William and Ida Mae Laughlin. She was a school nurse and state prison nurse before retirement and a lifelong Coolidge Resident. She is survived by a son James F. Higginbotham of Coolidge; a daughter, Pattie Burton of San Diego; four brothers, Junior, JD, Walter and Kenneth Laughlin; three sisters, Elsie Mary and Margaret; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy R. "Bill," and two sons, Jerry and William Higginbotham II. Heritage Coolidge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
