Boyd Fawn Strong 1931 - 2012 Boyd Strong passed away December 15, 2012 with his sons at his side. Boyd was born December 13, 1931 to Ralph Homer and Belva Johnson Strong in Alpine, Utah. Boyd grew up in Alpine and graduated from American Fork High School. He married Marceil Morgan on August 19, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple. Later Divorced. Boyd served in the army and National Guard. He retired from Geneva Steel. Boyd loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and collecting rocks. Boyd will be remembered for his friendly personality. Boyd is survived by his sons: Mike (Susan) Strong, Brent (Valerie) Strong, and Brad Strong; 8 grandchildren: Kimberly, Bart, Kamaron, Kelcie, Ashley, Kamille, Shawn, Zack and 9 great grandchildren; brother LaVar (Dixie) Strong. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brothers and grandson Jarod. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.
