Mary F. Krohn, 91 of Decatur, passed away at 5:45 A.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday in New Beginnings Church of God conducted by Pastor Mark D. Smith. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 on Thursday evening in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery with the Flight Home Ceremony. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Meals on Wheels. Mary was born on February 24, 1913 in Enfield, IL. a daughter of Charles and Emma (Miller) McArthy. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and volunteered at Fair Havens Christian Home and with meals on wheels. She married Bobbie Krohn on July 24, 1948 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2003. Surviving are her daughters, Judith A. Webb and husband James David of Forsyth, Penny L. McLean and husband David B. of Gassville, AR., Carol Whittington and husband Michael of Decatur and Debbie Williams and husband Phil of Woodland Park, CO, brother Charles McArthy of Decatur, sister Betty Wolpert of Yelm, WA., 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, and a sister Vonda Oates. Herald & Review Jan 27, 2005
