Alma Ann Dolezal Kouba: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Daily Oklahoman, The (Oklahoma City, OK) - Monday, March 22, 1993 Deceased Name: Alma Ann Dolezal Kouba KOUBA Alma Ann Dolezal, dear sister, step-mother, and aunt, left us to be with her beloved Savior Sat. March 20, 1993. Daughter of John C. and Mary Shulda Dolezal, she was born Feb. 17, 1898 near Yukon, Okla. Territory on the family farm at the corner of Mustang Rd and Reno. She attended Mayview Country School and Yukon High School. Her marriage to James Berousek, brother of Ernest and Otto, ended tragically when he died of injuries in a farm accident. She then married Pat Patterson of OKC. Their marriage ended but gave her her beloved daughter, Patricia (Patsy) Ann Patterson, who died in 1970. During WW II, Alma worked on the assembly line at Douglas Aircraft, and for many years she was a Housekeeper for Johon Kroutil of Yukon. She found lasting happiness with her marriage to Fred Kouba of Banner in June 1951. After the death of Fred and Patsy, she lived alone enjoying gardening and hooking rugs. Ill since a stroke last Dec., she recently enjoyed her 95th birthday party. She is survived by her brother, William Dolezal of Yukon; sisters-in-law, Josephine Dolezal of Yukon and Pansy Dolezal of Ripon, Calif.; step-son, Eddie Kouba of El Reno; numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Member of an Okla. pioneer family, she kept her faith, and joy in life while overcoming many trials throughout her life. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the Turner Chapel with burial in the Yukon Cemetery. TURNER FUNERAL HOME 201 E.
