Bio
Jeanette D. Knudson, the daughter of Merlin and Mildred (Lindy) Clark was born July 11, 1941 at Greenfield, Iowa and departed this life November 26, 2012 at the Fort Dodge Health and Rehab Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She lived her life to the age of 71 years, 4 months and 15 days. On December 31, 1956, Jeanette Clark was united in marriage to Norvin Joe Hingeley in Greenfield. Three children were born to this union: Ronnie, Debbie and Gary. After their marriage, the couple lived in Greenfield and then moved to Churdan in 1958. Norvin worked for various farmers in the Churdan area and then for the county road maintenance and Jeanette cared for her family. Norvin died in March of 1975. Later in 1975, Jeanette was married to Scott Knudson at Algona, Iowa. They lived in the Churdan area and moved to their present farm home in 1990. During Jeanette's life, she worked at various jobs but her main concern was caring for her family. Jeanette is survived by her husband Scott of Fort Dodge, children: Ron (Bonnie) Hingeley of Pomeroy, Deb (Kevin) Wenck of Carroll and Gary of Churdan, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a brother, Denny Clark of Denver, Colorado. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, first husband Norvin, one great-grandson and a half brother. A celebration of Jeanette's life was held at 10:00 AM, December 1, 2012, at the Brown Funeral Home in Churdan with Pastor Deb Parkison officiating. Musical selections were played by Lori Anderson. Visitation was from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday morning prior to the service. Burial was made in the Highland Township Cemetery in Churdan.
