SHAMROCK - William Louis Davis, 50, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Messer of Amarillo officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Davis was born in Frederick, Okla. He lived most of his life in Shamrock except for living in Lubbock for the past five years. He worked in the oil and gas industry. He also was a farmer and rancher. He served with the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of 11th Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Rudene Davis of Shamrock; a son, Justin Shea Davis of Amarillo; three daughters, Amanda Sharae Davis of Roosevelt, Okla., and Anna Marie Davis and Jana Sharee Davis, both of the home; a brother, Curtis "Peanut" Davis of Pakan; and four sisters, Frances Clay of Reydon, Okla., Ned Burrell of Wheeler, Martha Salem of Fort Worth and Barbara Albin of Shamrock.
