BROKEN BOW - Carl Speer, 79, of Broken Bow died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Broken Bow. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Broken Bow with the Rev. Jim Hunt and Michael Dodge officiating. Burial will be at Broken Bow Cemetery. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. at the church. Iverson Memorial Chapel in Broken Bow is in charge of arrangements. He was born Aug. 19, 1933, in Broken Bow to Carl Sr. and Fern (Meston) Speer. He married Ruth Einspahr. Carl is survived by his wife Ruth of Broken Bow, sons Carl (Sherry) Speer, Daniel Speer, both of Kearney, and William (Teresa) Speer of Mason City, daughters; Deborah (Michael) Dodge, of Davenport, ND, and Angie (Troy) Martinez of Anselmo, 23 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
