Karen Vesta Henion, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Karen Henion was born on Sunday, June 2, 1940 in Caldwell, Idaho the daughter of Clarence Ellis and Ruby Sylvester (Oxford) Glendy. She was reared and educated in Broken Bow, Nebraska where she graduated high school. After high school she married Donnie E. Henion in Broken Bow. They moved to Wheatland in 1975. Karen worked for the hospital doing various jobs while raising her three children. Some of her hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening, painting, and most importantly always being there for her children and grandchildren. She is survived by 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie E. Henion on September 27, 1984; siblings, Darrel and Clayton Glendy; and grandson, Dustin Finnerty on January 11, 2022.
