Bio

Anne J. Kulczewski, age 95, of Council Bluffs, passed away December 12, 2012, at Risen Son Christian Village. Anne was born November 28, 1917, in Loma, Nebraska, to the late Frank and Margaret (Krumel) Lorenz. She graduated from St. Francis High School, Council Bluffs in 1935. Anne married Joseph J. Kulczewski on June 15, 1943. They were blessed with four children, John, Joseph, Margaret and James. Anne worked as an administrative assistant for a law firm and a bank in her younger years and later worked at the Council Bluffs Public Library for 10 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar and Rosary Society. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Kulczewski in 2007; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Anne is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Thomas) Stohler of Omaha; sons, John (Leah) Kulczewski of Wheaton, Illinois, Joseph (Jean) Kulczewski of Saint Clair, Michigan, James (Lori) Kulczewski of Council Bluffs; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
