STANDLEY, HENRY D. H. D. Standley, 75, Retired Farmer, Dies in Hospital Henry D. Standley, 75, retired farmer and resident of Dallas County for twenty-seven years, died in a Dallas hospital Monday. A native of Groveton, Trinity County, he lived at Rowlett before moving to Dallas ten years ago. He had been a member of the Baptist church for fifty years. Funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery Wednesday with burial at Garland Cemetery. Standley is survived by three sons, Henry J. Standley, Leakey, Real County; Burl Standley, Dallas, and Collins Standley, Mesquite; three daughters, Mrs. Will Flanagan, Grapevine. Mrs. L. L. Gant and Mrs. Ralph Hedge, both of Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. G. L. Hart, Apple Springs, Trinity County, and Mrs. Cora Hamilton, Huntington, Angelina County. (March 26, 1946, Dallas Morning News)
