George B. Broussard, 81, of 1575 West Highland died at 4:20 a.m. today in Baptist Hospital. A World War I Army veteran, he had retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Saturday in Broussard's Mortuary Chapel. Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Assumption Catholic Church by the Rev. James Quinlan, pastor. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Chiuminetta Broussard; one son, George L. Broussard of Beaumont; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Bedile of Beaumont, two brothers, Tom Broussard of Port Arthur and Jack Broussard of Breaux Bridge, La.; one sister, Mrs. Helen Stanford of Breaux Bridge, and three grandchildren.
