Bio

Jo Ellen was known for being a caring, empathetic, and kind-hearted woman who worked hard. She was the youngest of her three sisters (Callie and Barbara) and a beloved mother to her 2 boys (Michael D. Wallace and James B. Wallace "Jim"), who were her world. Additionally, she had 5 grandchildren: 1 boy (Michael D. Wallace Jr.) and 4 girls (Michelle L. Wallace, Deanna "Ware" Shannon, Patrica R. Wallace, and Samantha Jo Wallace-LaRoche), with numerous great-grandchildren. Jo Ellen sadly only got to enjoy being a grandmother for a short time, but loved every second of it. She was known for often taking off with her grandbaby, Michelle. Nevertheless, she loved every one of her grandchildren and would have loved the ones she sadly didn't get to meet.
