Lawrence Alfred Pokluda (October 10, 1921 - April 19, 2007) Mr. Lawrence Alfred Pokluda, 85, of San Augustine, Tx., passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2007. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2007, at 10 A.M. at the St. Ann Catholic Church of Ebarb, La. with Father Jorge Dinguis and Father Mani T. Mathai officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Ann's Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007, starting at 5 P.M. till 8 P.M. at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle, La. Mr Pokluda was a WWII veteran, Army military graveside services will be conducted by the Fort Polk Honor Guard. Mr. Lawrence Pokluda was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Julie Pokluda, wife, Irene S. Pokluda. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Neckvatal of Lake Zurich Ill., son, Kenneth Pokluda of Antigo Wisc., sister, Evelyn Moreland, of Anderson, Calif., special nieces & nephews, LeRoy & Belva Jean LeBlanc, Glen & Brenda Sepulvado, and host of other neices and nephews.
