Mrs. Sershen Dies From Stroke Mrs. E. Sershen, aged 70 years, died at 5:45 a. m., Tuesday, May 9, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Scholer in Waseca, following a stroke suffered at about 10 a. m., Monday. She resided in Elysian the greater part of her life time. She was of a home loving disposition, greatly devoted to her family and friends. Her husband preceded her in death four years ago, also one daughter Louise, several years ago. Six daughters: Mrs. Mildred Terrell, Mrs. Rose Scholer and Frances Fitzloff of Waseca; Mrs. Florence Stierlin of Eagle Lake; Mrs. Jennie Buss of Waltham and two sons, Frank of Janesville and Jack of Rochester. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m., Thursday from the Peterson funeral home in Waseca and at 2:30 p. m., from the M. E. Church in Elysian, Rev. J. E. Sweeny of Stanton will officiate. Interment to be made in Cedar Hill cemetery beside the grave of her husband. Waseca Herald 5-11-1939
