Melvin Meister, 64. of Wall Lake, died Thursday. Sept. 6, 1990. at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Sept. 10, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wall Lake with Rev. Jerome Deacon ofnciating. Burial was at Wall Lake Cemetery. Military graveside rites were also conducted. Mr. Meister was born March 26, 1926, in Sac County, the son of George and Clara (Stangel) Meister. A graduate of the Lake View schools, Meister was a World War II veteran who later married and farmed for many years in the Wall Lake area. He is survived by his wife, Valaria, of Wall Lake: a daughter. Marvel (Mrs. Jim) Lampe, of Carroll: his mother, Clara, of Wall Lake: a sister , Margaret (Mrs. Albert) Lampe, of Mosinee, Wis.: and two brothers, Hilbert and Orville, both of Wall Lake. Mr. Melster was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth.
