See cenotaph: here Ellery Murray Lawrence, 78, of Wichita Falls, died Monday, December 3, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Redding and Rev. Gene Pepitone officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A son of the late Irma Mae (Farnsworth) and Murray Daniel Lawrence, Ellery was born April 9, 1934, in Jonesport, Maine. He worked in chemical formulation for Ciba Geigy prior to retirement and later retired with Ameron Pipe System. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls. Ellery was also preceded in death by a sister, Pat Imus and a granddaughter, Holly McBride. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Cook Lawrence of Wichita Falls; daughter, Betty Jeannine Roberts and husband, Terry of Wichita Falls, son, Paul Murray Lawrence and wife, Kim of Plano and daughter, Wynsu Kowalick and husband, Tony of Wichita; sister, Annabelle LaBree of Bradley, Maine; 14 grandchildren, Jodi Marie Naylor, Skylar Kowalick, Casey High, Devon Kowalick, Tonya Cannedy, Jennifer McBride, Cheyenne McBride, Cajun Prosser, Cyndi Kelly and Brian McClain, Sean Roberts, Nalani Carr, Renee Raby and Jesse Roberts; 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the funeral home.
