Royston Man Dies at Home Rotan, Jan. 28 - Ernest Clarence Parker, 52, Royston farmer, died at his farm home Saturday at 3 p.m. following a heart attack. Parker had just returned home from the Royston store and entered his house when the attack occurred. He died instantly. He was born January 18, 1898 in Durant, Okla. He came to Fisher County in 1905 and had farmed near Royston since that time, except for a 12-year period when he lived at O'Donnell and Eureka, Okla. He was married to the former Minnie Daniel in Roby June 3, 1917. They had no children. He had been a member of the Nazarene Church for more than 30 years. Funeral services will be held at the farm home, located four miles southwest of the Royston store at 3 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Temple Lewis of Avoca, officiating. Burial will be in the McCaulley Cemetery under direction of the McCombs Funeral Service of Rotan. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Gilliam of O'Donnell and Mrs. Modelle Kiser of Sylvester; three brothers, Lee Parker of Durant, Aaron Parker of Clovis, N.M., and Columbus Parker of Waureka, Okla.
