The Progress (Clearfield, Pennsylvania) Friday, December 23, 1960 Aarom Morris, 81, of 407 Park Ave., Clearfield, died Tuesday night in his winter home at Sebring, Fla., after suffering a stroke. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Morris headed the Morris Lumber Company at Everett where he formerly resided. For the past several years he and his wife have lived in Florida during the winter months. In addition to his wife, the former Lulu Mann of Clearfield, he is survived by a son, Glenn Morris of Cumberland, Md., and a daughter, Mrs. G. H. Morrell of Clearville R.D. He also leaves two older brothers. Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Connors Funeral Home at Everett. Burial will be made in the Everett Cemetery. Bedford County Press and Everett Press, Everett, Pennsylvania · Thursday, December 29, 1960 Aaron Morris, former widly known mill owner, died on December 21, 1960, at his home in Sebring, Florida. For many years Mr. Morris operated the Morris Lumber Company on North Spring Street. He was born on February 1, 1879, in Monroe Township, Bedford County, a son of Israel and Eleanor (Strayer) Morris. He was firs married to Mary Ellen Steckman, who died in 1923. Later he married Elsie Hoover, who died in 1947. His third wife, the former Lulu Mann survives. There are one son, Glenn L. Morris of Cumberland, Md., one daughter, Mrs. Irene Morral of Route 2, Clearville, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, John Morris of Everett and Francis of Clearville. Mr. Morris was a membr of the Barndollar Methodist Church. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Conner Funeral Home with Rev. LeRoy Harrison officiating. Interment was in the Everett Cemetery.
