Bio

Excerpt from bio of Duncan A. McGillivray in "History of South Dakota" by Doane Robinson, Vol. II (1904), p 1677. On the 31st of March, 1885, Mr. McGillivray was married to Miss Delphemia Seaton, of Lake county, and she entered into eternal rest on the 31st of May, 1893, being survived by one son and three daughters, namely: Jessie, John, Della and May. On the 8th of October, 1894, was solemnized the marriage of Mr. McGillivray to Miss Mabel Phelps, a sister of his partner, John A. Phelps, and of this union has been born one son, Murdock J.
