ERNA CREEL REFUGIO — Erna Creel, 95, of Refugio, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998. She was born June 4, 1903, in Humble, to the late Levi and Frances Spear. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church, and a member of the VFW Post No. 6290 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: daughters, Vivian Krueger of Taft and Dorothy Borgman of Klamath Falls, Oregon; sister, Agnes McJunkin of Cut and Shoot and four grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Emmitt Shivers and daughter, Velma Meitzen. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Moore Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
