The Winona Daily News, Monday, March 21, 1966; Page: 10 Mrs. Clara Hoel RUSHFORD, Minn. (Special) Mrs. Clara Hoel, Rochester, 72, died of a heart attack Sunday at 9 p.m. at her home. The former Clara Peterson, she was born Jan. 28, 1894, in Mabel to Mr. and Mrs. John Peterson. She had lived in Rochester since 1952 and prior to that in Rushford and New York City. She was married to Ole Hoel, April 3, 1919 at South Fork. He died Aug. 7, 1965. She was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church. Survivors are: One son, Clifford, Rushford; two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Donna) D'Errico, Seaford, N.Y., and Mrs. Howard.(Evelyn) Lyons, West Islip, N;Y.; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Henry, Minneapolis, and one sister, Mrs. Deha Tomte, Rushford. Three brothers and two sisters have died. Jensen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
