Funeral services for Walter Kirk Forrest, 55, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Monica Massey and Pastor Russell Tullos officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Forrest was born August 15, 1957 in Galveston, Texas to Arthur and Nellev (Pillows) Forrest, and died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in an Arkansas hospital. He was a Customer Service Manager and worked in the accounting department for Walmart. Survivors include his wife, Terrie Ray Forrest; son, the light of Walter's life, Jose "Frankie" Zavala; daughters, Carrie Welton and Elizabeth Rivera; sons, Gary Forrest and Christopher Henderson; 19 grandchildren; mother, Nellev Forrest; sisters, Sheila Arledge, Jacqueline Hodge and Felicia Jernigan; brothers, Travis Forrest, Sherwood Forrest, and Darrell Forrest; sisters-in-law, Katrinka Lindsey, Jerrie Aguilar and Melva Jones; brothers-in-law, Frank Hill, Matthew Hill and Daniel Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives, including his Walmart family in Crockett, Marshall and Ashdown.
