Cardin - Lynda D. (Peek) Ontiberos, 55, registered nurse, formerly of Cardin, died Monday in Fairland. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday, Adcock Funeral Home, Afton, and graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday, Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery, Miami, Okla. (Tulsa World) -------------------------- Lynda D. (Peek) Ontiberos, formally of Cardin, Ok., left this earth to be with our heavenly father on Monday, November 21, 2012 at the Family Care Center, Fairland, OK. She was 55 years old born on the 22 of May 1957 in Miami Ok., to Stephan and Melba (Loftis) Peek. She served as a candy striper for Baptist Regional Hospital, Miami OK. She graduated from Miami High school in 1975 and attained her Nursing Degree as an RN from NEO A&M College, Miami, OK. Lynda�s many accomplishments include working as Charge Nurse at Hillcrest hospital in Tulsa OK. In a addition Lynda had a long and distinguished career as a Business analyst for EDS ( Electronic Data Systems) in Austin, Texas. Lynda was married to Col. LeRoy Ontiberos for 23 years and also performed her duties as his Units Senior Leader for returning soldiers from Iraq. Lynda is survived by Col. (Ret) LeRoy Ontiberos and their daughter Victoria Ontiberos, of Austin, TX., Diane Adcock and Roland Adcock, of Afton, OK., many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother; Melba E. Peek, father; Stephan Peek, and infant brother; Gary Dell Peek. Graveside services will at 10:00 a.m., on Nov. 24, 2012 at G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, OK. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Adcock Funeral Home Ottawa County Oklahoma Surname Searched Volunteers 31 Mar 2025
