United States World War II Army Enlistment Records, 1938-1946 Camp Fort Wolters was located four miles east of Mineral Wells in Parker and Palo Pinto counties in the state of Texas. Event Type Military Service Event Date 06 Feb 1942 Mr. Kyser was taken by ambulance to a Dallas hospital for smoke inhalation.
