Kansas City Star, The (MO) - Monday, May 9, 1994 Deceased Name: MABEL R. WOLFE Mabel R. Wolfe, 90, Independence, died May 6, 1994, at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Speaks Midtown Chapel; graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Boys and Girls Club of Independence. Mrs. Wolfe was born in Graniteville, Kan., and lived in Topeka, Dodge City and Dighton in Kansas, returning to Topeka in 1946. She worked for Capitol Federal Savings and Loan in Topeka for eight years, retiring in 1968. She graduated from Kansas University School of Design in 1925. She was a member of the Grand Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member o f the Beacon Heights congregation of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her first husband, C.M. Rose, died in 1948. Her second husband, Walter B. Rumsey, died in 1968. Her third husband, Clayton J. Wolfe, died in 1981.
