Bio
Darlene Marie (Anderson) Bennett was born on May 28, 1948 in Brownwood, Texas to Harold and Virgie (Harper) Anderson. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxillary and had formerly served as treasurer. She had lived most of her life in Brownwood and had worked as a supervisor for Brownwood Manufacturing prior to becoming disabled due to her health. She was an "Awesome" mother, grandmother and great-grandmother not only to her own but, also to all her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her children, Michael Bennett and wife Angelica, Frances Odom and husband Mark, Michelle McKinney and husband Scott, Dania Romans, Tracey Delgado and husband Chris; brothers, Halbert Anderson and wife Twila and Herman Anderson; sisters, Margarett Robin and husband Tex, Shirley McAnear; grandchildren, Kristy, Tiffany, Jennifer, Danna, Kory, Brady, Cody, Lindsey, Amber, Breana, Evan, Andrew and Brooke; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons; one sister, Linda Blocker; and by the father of her children, Joseph Bennett.
