Bio

HALTOM CITY - Lois C. Green, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth nursing home. She was 88. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakhurst United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday school class. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Biggers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Green was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong area resident.She was a 1920 graduate of Handley High School and was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Lone Star Auxiliary Barracks No. 15 of the Veterans of World War I. Mrs. Green was the wife of Carroll Green, who died in 1961. Survivors: Daughter of Fort Worth; sister of Timpson; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
