Bio

Fred Redrick Springer, son of Daniel Zack & Mary Susan (Burks/Richardson) Springer. On 23 March 1946 in Dallas TX, he married Louie Eleanor Robinson, daughter of Vance Nathan & Mattie Effie (Reed) Robinson.Fred served in World War II in the South Pacific. He was discharged Dec 8, 1945 and lived in Dallas near White Rock Lake. Fred died of a heart attack on 22 July 1956 at his home and was buried at the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Navarro Co., TX. After his son, Louis Daniel Springer, was killed in Vietnam, Louie had Fred's remains moved to the Field of Honor in the Restland Cemetery in Dallas Texas.
