Services for Emma Lou Ladd, 57, were held today at 2 p.m. from Neshoba Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Bingham and Rev. John Stephens were to officiate. Burial was to be in Neshoba Cemetery under the direction of McClain-Hays Funeral Home. Mrs. Ladd died Monday in St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County where she made her home in the Linwood and Neshoba communities. She was formerly employed with Midland, Garan and Nemanco. She was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Maurice Ladd of Union; five daughters, Mrs. Dewana J. Boswell of Philadelphia, Mrs. Yvonne Eshee of Florence, Mrs. Debbie Chunn Buckley of Crystal Springs, Mrs. Melissa Landrum of Union and Mrs. Tracey McDaniel of Philadelphia; one son, Donald L. Chunn of Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; mother, Clara Kelly Peebles of Philadelphia; sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Powell of Pearl, Mrs. Peggy Carter of Brandon, Mrs. Barbara Wollard of Pearl and Mrs. Gladys Sherman of New Hebron; one brother, Roger Herman Kelly of Philadelphia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
