Robert Walsh Howard, age 91, of Garland, TX was born November 21, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA, and passed away November 12, 2012 in Mesquite, TX. Bob was a WWII Veteran with a Purple Heart; a member of the Knights of Columbus, Order of Alhambra, and a Veteran of Foreign War. He had his own accounting firm, and he loved his family, traveling, joking around to make everyone smile,and he especially enjoyed "clowning around" as a volunteer for children. Robert is survived by numerous wonderful nieces and nephews; and is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucille Howard; and brother, Warren G. Howard. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 15, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dallas, TX, with entombment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, from 6-9PM, with a Rosary service at 7:00PM at the funeral home. Published in Dallas Morning News on November 14, 2012
