Son of Jakub Urbanek & Francisco Kris. He was born 27 Oct 1838 in house #18 in Zarubice, Moravia. He was united in marriage to Katerina Rousek 12 Feb 1861 in Zarubice. 11 children were born to this union, the first seven born in Zarubice, the last four were born in Linwood, Nebraska.
