Bio
Verdman Bailey, 89, of Dry Creek, Louisiana passed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Mr. Bailey was a Master Mason. He was a hardworking man, wonderful husband and an awesome grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law; daughter and son-in-law of Dry Creek, LA ; sister of Rosepine, LA; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and one grand daughter, Robbie. Funeral services were Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial followed at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Pastor John Gray and Pastor Charlie Bailey officiated.
