Bio
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in the chapel of Riverview Cemetery for Rhea J. Vrooman, who died Feb. 21 at age 84. Mrs. Vrooman was born April 28, 1915, in Woodward, Iowa. Her maiden name was Jacobson. She moved to Portland in 1922 and attended Girls Polytechnic and Grant high schools. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Baptist Church. In 1936, she married Ivan Roy Vrooman. Survivors include her husband; daughter, Rhea-Marie Knudsen; son, Michael R. Sr.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Disposition is by cremation. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial. Oregonian, The (Portland, OR) Date: February 26, 2000
