Donna Mae Hubbard, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Seward, NE. Donna was born on September 15, 1928, near Bliss, NE., to Stephen J. and Jennie P. (Gunter) Shavlik. Donna attended country school near Goose Lake in Holt County, NE. before graduating from Ewing (NE.) High School in 1946. She attended Lincoln (NE.) School of Commerce and worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. C.M. Eason until she married Edwin "Hub" Hubbard. They were married on March 30, 1948, at the United Methodist Church in Chambers, NE. After marriage, Donna became a housewife and also worked as Custodian at the Methodist Church, Chambers, NE. for many years. Edwin passed away on September 3, 1991. Donna was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chambers, NE. and The Mourning Star Circle. She was also a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post #320 in Chambers, NE. Donna was a member of various other clubs and organizations, and very active in the Chambers community. Donna is preceded in death by: parents and husband, Edwin "Hub" Hubbard. Burial was in the Chambers Cemetery, Chambers, NE.
