Bio

Alexander Gross Is a native of Poland in which state he .was born in 1855. He lived here 18 years and then sailed to New York. He went from one place to another for the first three years after coming to this country. In 1875 he arrived in Hall county and the next year moved up the valley to Valley County. He lived here till 1901 when he bought a farm in Garfield County only a short distance from Burwell. Mr. Gross is a successful farmer. The Trail of the Loup, 1906
