Yvonne (Willenborg) Nors, 66, of West, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in West. A rosary will be recited and Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Aderhold Funeral Home. Yvonne was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Anton John and Mary Agnes (Filer) Willenborg. She attended school in Tours and was a 1963 graduate of West High School. On Oct. 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Edwin B. Nors in Tours. Yvonne was a homemaker and mother to seven children. She worked for several area businesses including the Czech American Restaurant, JoAnn's Bridal Shop, West Fraternal Hall and Lone Star Hall. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. She was also a member of Catholic Life, S.P.J.S.T. Lodge #54, K.J.Z.T. Society #11, St. Mary's Quarterback Club and Sokol Gymnastics. Yvonne enjoyed watching the Baylor Lady Bears Basketball team and Texas Rangers. She also liked casino gambling, playing bingo, being outdoors, taking walks, working in her flower garden, and traveling. Yvonne was preceded in death her husband on Nov. 17, 2008; and a brother, Dennis Willenborg. Survivors include sons, Randy Nors and wife, Angie, Bradley Nors and wife, Jeannie, Greg Nors, and Doug "Fred" Nors and wife, Shannon, all of West; daughters, Cynthia Nors, of West, Lanette Sullins and husband, Lance, of Abbott, and Jessica Clifton and husband, Mark, of West; grandchildren, Kasie, Clay, Clint, Morgan, Mason and Jillian; great-grandson, Layne; four step-grandsons; brother, Jackie Willenborg and wife, Shirley; sisters, Connie Sealy and husband, Robert, Annette Fell and husband, Johnnie, Mary Ann Nors and husband, Eugene, Margie Vrbas and husband, Richard, and Sharon Harlan and husband, Robert; her dog, Holly; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
